Replacement Cartridge Instructions
It is recommended that the cartridges be replaced every 12 months or sooner depending on local water quality, or if system pressure drops 20 psi (138 kPa) during normal operation.

System Cartridge Change-Out
1. Shut off incoming water supply.
2. Depressurize the system at the point of use.

For Taste/Odor Cartridges:
3. Lift red knob on the filter head upward and hold.
4. While holding the red knob up, turn cartridge to the left while grasping cartridge securely. Pull the cartridge straight down and discard.

Note: There is a small amount of residual water drainage after pressure is relieved and during cartridge removal.

5. Align tabs of new cartridge with the head and insert new cartridge into head. Turn cartridge to the right until a clicking sound is heard. This indicates that the cartridge is properly engaged. Flush for two minutes.

6. Repeat steps 4-5 for remaining taste/odor cartridges.

For the Scale Inhibition Cartridge:
Note:
The scale inhibitor cartridges have a keyed cover and will only fit in the last head on the manifold.
